You will be able to view the extracted files in the new versions of ITEM (cad module) and MOST (nesting module). Note, it is desirable to extract the contents of the zip file along with the sub-folder stored inside the zip file. In that case, the data files will be organized under appropriate sub-folders inside the main extraction folder.
  • Experience tells us that most of the problems reported by new users are due to incorrect part drawing creation. Hence, we have kept a separate zip file on our website, which describes the correct procedure for defining (or importing) a part drawing in ITEM (cad module), in detail. You can download this file from Cad Topics. It is desirable to extract the contents of the zip file along with the sub-folder stored inside the zip file. In that case, the main topic files (in HTML format), sample dxf / mdf files and other picture files will get copied in appropriate sub-folders under the extraction folder. Please refer to all the HTML documents to find out the procedure for working with ITEM software and also, for finding the possible reasons for incorrect Dxf => Mdf conversion.
